I am gobsmacked, literally, by how change in attitude brings around real change.  I don’t know what happens, but sometimes I start seeing the shadows instead of the light, and I have to work really hard to see that light.  Yesterday I was given a quote that made true sense to me,

“Life is supposed to be fun. You said, “I’ll go forth and choose. I’ll look at the data, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this; and I’ll paint a picture of the things that I want, and I’ll vibrate about them because that’s what I’m giving my attention to. And the Universe will respond to my vibration. And then I’ll stand in a new place where a whole new batch of yeses are available, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this.” You did not say, “I’ll go forth and struggle into joy,” because from your Nonphysical Perspective you know it is vibrationally not possible. You cannot struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy that good things come. “

Immediately I began to think of the many facets of this quote, and how they made sense in my life.  I have had to make huge sacrifices in the past 3 years to do the work that is important to me, both as an artist and a human being.  I have floundered because of it, I have been overjoyed beyond belief, and down in the gutter at other times.  Once recently I thought I would give it all up and “get a real job” (no really, I actually thought I would get security, whatever that is!).  I have had lectures on how I should really be focusing on my registered retirement savings fund, but instead I have been doggedly, determinedly, going forth down the only road I know is right for me.  That is to continue doing what is a joy and what makes a difference! So yes it has at some times been a struggle on the surface, but inside whenever I think of moving more towards the work that I love, there is not a moment of hesitation.  When I do that work and engage with others on it, it is a natural flow, it works, and so do I.  I have noticed too that the more I visualize that the yeses will be there, the more I get the yeses!

Recently, I got together with a fantastic group of people and together we held an amazing Strategic Planning meeting for Cameras4Change.  I knew I needed to bring together talented and experienced creative people to help bring C4C alive, and I know we are getting there!  I feel we are on a roll and even more things are going to be possible, the vibration is there, and so are all of the yeses!
